David and Lauren Hogg are Writing a Book

You had to see this one coming. David Hogg and his sister Lauren are writing a book. Entitled #NeverAgain, it will feature  a forward written by Parkland student and activist Emma Gonzalez.

David’s sister Lauren says the book “tells the story of how we turned our grief into action and how we fight and speak out for those who no longer can.”

From the synopsis on Amazon:

This book is a manifesto for the movement begun that day, one that has already changed America–with voices of a new generation that are speaking truth to power, and are determined to succeed where their elders have failed. With moral force and clarity, a new generation has made it clear that problems previously deemed unsolvable due to powerful lobbies and political cowardice will be theirs to solve. Born just after Columbine and raised amid seemingly endless war and routine active shooter drills, this generation now says, Enough. This book is their statement of purpose, and the story of their lives. It is the essential guide to the #NeverAgain movement.

The book will be released on June 5th and according to the Hoggs’, all proceeds will benefit healing in the Parkland community as well as fighting gun violence, but name no specific organizations to which they are donating.

Surprise, surprise: Maher defends Ingraham

Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. For instance, liberal Bill Maher defending conservative Laura Ingraham.

Over the weekend, the ‘Real Time’ host came out against the proposed advertising boycott Laura Ingraham’s television program.

Some quick background on the whole issue: Ingraham tweeted out a message essentially mocking Hogg after he said was rejected by several colleges. Hogg retaliated by calling for advertisers to drop the Ingraham show.

Of course, several companies capitulated to the 17-year-old. But Fox News put out a message saying they were staying with Ingraham despite the hullabaloo.

Anyway, Maher essentially said Friday night that despite what Ingraham said, she still has the right to do so, with the First Amendment and all. He goes on to make the same argument that many have been making since the whole thing started. David Hogg has the right to be heard just as much as Laura Ingraham does just as much as Joe Scarborough or Rachel Maddow does.

Almost on cue and as expected the other three members of Maher’s panel vehemently disagree with the host.

Gotta wonder how they would feel if someone tried to silence them?

Finally! CNN let’s us know David Hogg’s plans after high school

CNN loves them some David Hogg.

You know, who I’m talk about, right? He’s the Parkland School shooting survivor who is on their network more than Brian Stelter. But honestly, he’s probably more reliable than the ‘Reliable Sources’ host, so maybe that’s part of the reason.

Anyway, Mr. Hogg is the lad whose been the most out front and in your face about guns, gun laws, the NRA, saying lawmakers have literal blood on their hands, organizing protests and other pleasantries.

Hogg also believes his parents “don’t know how to use a “f**king” democracy.”

So, you know he’s seems like a perfectly pleasant, reasonable young man.

CNN, “the most trusted name in news,” is without a doubt the primary, if not the sole reason, Hogg has gained so much fame and notoriety.

CNN’s Alliysn Camerota was absolutely incredulous when she learned that any college could turn away their media darling, exclaiming “what kind of dumbass colleges don’t want you?”

Well, now thanks to CNN we now know Hogg won’t be attending any “dumbass” colleges, at least for the next year.  What will the left’s intolerable poster child being doing for the next year?  Well, don’t you worry, he, just like to resident sane person and “comedian” Chelsea Handler, will be making our democracy even better.

How selfless of the lad!

Listen, this isn’t so much about Hogg as it is CNN. Hogg doesn’t realize he’s being used by those pushing gun control and the media. He’s lapping up all the fame and honestly, what 17-year-old kid wouldn’t like being told how great they are and how brave they are for holding opinions that the media elite hold.

Feeling it necessary to tell us what Hogg plans to do after high school just kind of shows where CNN’s credibility is at this point. Next to zero.

Perhaps CNN will tell us what he plans to do for the weekend? What his parents get him for his 18th birthday?

CNN, please do keep us informed! You know, “the most trusted named in news.”

Fox News releases statement on Laura Ingraham, to stand behind her

It appears David Hogg has failed…at least for the moment.

Following last week’s brouhaha where Laura Ingraham tweeted a rather dumb message about Hogg being rejected from college, advertisers began dropping like flies, at Hogg’s urging. You know, because Ingraham said something Hogg didn’t like and deserved to be silenced.

After the dustup, Ingraham tweeted a message of apology.

But receiving an apology from Ingraham was never the goal. Instead, Hogg stated he wanted an apology from the entire network.  Big surprise, I know. A leftist given an inch and trying to take a mile.

Anyway, some thought Ingraham’s show would actually be taken off the air due to the action’s of a 17-year-old and a few companies willing to happily submit to a high school student’s demands. Virtue signaling at its best…or worst, I guess.

Anyway, Fox News put out a message Monday stating that Ingraham’s show isn’t going anywhere.

While not a big fan of Ingraham, silencing her or anyone else for that matter because they refuse to going along with the in vogue opinion of the day isn’t a good precedent.

Rachel Maddow has every right to be heard. Chris Hayes has every right to be heard. Heck, even David Hogg has the right to be heard.

However, at this point it appears that Hogg’s crusade to silence those who aren’t in complete and total agreement with him has failed.

Just don’t let him or CNN know.

Gun Violence Survivor Kaya Jones Wants to Debate David Hogg

Former Pussycat Dolls singer and Native American Ambassador to the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, is a staunch Second Amendment supporter. Despite having been a victim of gun violence AND leaving the stage shortly before the Las Vegas shooter began his rampage at the Route 91 music festival, Kaya still believes in the right to bear arms and she’s had enough of David Hogg.

So far Hogg hasn’t responded to her challenge.

Meanwhile, other conservatives have decided that muting him is better than trying to engage.

But no one is addressing the elephant in the room – why aren’t theses kids back in class??

Advertisers bend to the will of a high school student

Advertisers are caving and bending to the will of a high school student.

Yesterday, conservative radio and Fox News host, Laura Ingraham, tweeted out a message about Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg being rejected from college.

That’s what she tweeted. Nothing less, nothing more.

Was it the smartest thing to do? Probably not. But it’s not awful.

Well, Mr. Hogg, liberal hero of the moment, was incredibly offended. Not only demanding an apology from Ingraham, but he started going after her advertisers.

And you know what, those companies began caving, giving into the demands of a high school student.

But the story doesn’t stop there. Ingraham apologized for her “insensitive” tweet. However, that turned out not to be enough for Hogg, he is now demanding an apology from an entire network.

Yes, the same kid that said Sen. Marco Rubio had blood on his hands, that also said radio host Dana Loesch was a propagandist for the NRA and calling her disgusting, wants an apology from entire network.

I understand he’s been through a horrible, horrible thing. But this kid is taking his 15 minutes a little far. You can’t accuse a sitting senator of being directly responsible for the deaths of 17 people and then claim the moral high ground, demanding an apology.

Seriously, is  where we are in 2018? If so, it’s a sad, sad place.

David Hogg: The NRA are “Pathetic F***ers that Want to Keep Killing our Children.”

David Hogg, one of the survivors of the Parkland school shooting and founder of the Never Again movement, had some very choice words about the NRA and pro-gun politicians.

Watch this interview with The Outline. WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE.

“Our parents don’t know how to use a f***ing democracy, so we have to.”

“They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn’t take action, because they all still see these dollar signs.”

David Hogg is seventeen years old. What he went through is horrific and no child should have to experience it. But that’s just it – he’s still very young and yet he acts like he’s an expert on everything.

He’s been extremely disrespectful to NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch.

He thinks he’s an expert on everything from voter ID laws to the security of our election.

And he’s even a journalist and documentary film maker!

Sadly what he and the rest of the Parkland students (yes, even Kyle Kashuv, the 2A supporter) don’t see is that all these kids are to politicians are pawns to be used for whatever agenda they support.

And the media needs to stop treating them as if they’re some sort of school shooting survivor celebrities. They’re still just kids and instead of flying around on private jets and shaking hands with the people using them to drum up votes, they should be working through what happened and thinking about returning to school.

They’re not experts and they shouldn’t be treated as such by either side.

And after that profanity laced interview, David Hogg’s parents need to teach him an appropriate approach to public speaking – people take you more seriously when you speak intelligently.

(Maybe wash his mouth out with soap too.)
