Tampa mayor says police will identify and ‘handle’ maskless Super Bowl attendees

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers steamrolled the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night in the Super Bowl 31-9. As great as Patrick Mahomes has been in his short career, he wasn’t able to get the Chiefs into the end zone.

But nevertheless, apparently instead of watching their hometown Buccaneers win Super Bowl LV, the mayor of Tampa Bay was more concerned about the action in the stands.

On Monday afternoon, Mayor Jane Castor vowed that those who went maskless at Sunday’s game will be identified and then law enforcement will “handle” the situation.
