Tuesday is Donald Trump’s last full day as the President of the United States. At noon on Wednesday, Trump will exit the White House as President-elect Joe Biden begins his term as the leader of the country.
Hours before Trump leaves the White House he released a nearly 20-minute address. In it, Trump acknowledges that he will, in fact, be leaving office and a new administration will take over. He also acknowledges his accomplishments during his time in office but papers over his failures, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent siege on the U.S. Capitol.
The big question, though, remains: Facing a second impeachment trial, and likely other legal trouble coming his way, what does a post-presidency life look like for Donald Trump?
