Wednesday, when Trump supporters stormed and attempted a violent coup incited by President Trump, Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump Jr. against the United States, was an ugly day.
Gathering and protesting the actions of the government is welcomed in the United States. It’s actually protected in the founding documents of this country. But rioting, destroying property, public or private, isn’t protected, and that goes for groups like Black Lives Matter, Antifa or Trump supporters.
Yesterday, Trump supporters broke into the United States Capitol. They broke windows, scaled walls (walls work though, right?), and broke into elected officials’ offices.
