Rudy Giuliani before Trump mob stormed Capitol: Let’s have trial by combat

In America, we have something called a peaceful transfer of power or that used to be the case. From administration to administration, regardless of party and no matter how bruising the campaign, that has always been the case.

Again, or it used to be until Jan. 6, 2021.

On Wednesday, as Congress was in the process of certifying the election results, Trump supporters stormed the United States Capitol.

Why? Because they were upset President Donald Trump lost the election and they know it. Trump, his campaign surrogates and media sycophants have said for two months that the election was stolen from them, that they were cheated and dozens and dozens of other lies.

But following the violent, attempted coup by several Trump supporters, Trump and his allies will try and say that they didn’t say anything to encourage this violent, seditious and frankly, treasonous behavior in the slightest.

Well, prior to the Trump mob storming and breaking into the Capitol, Trump held a rally where he and others just spouted more lies and conspiracy theories.
