Democrat Joe Biden is set to become the next President of the United States of American. Biden will take the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2021 and become our nation’s 46th president.
Yes, I understand that for a considerable amount of Trump supporters that may be a difficult thing to grasp but it’s going to happen. In just a matter of weeks, Donald Trump will leave office as he tweets about a “stolen election” and all of the “evidence” showing how he really won bigly.
Even though Trump’s time in office is quickly drawing to a close, there are still Republican elected officials who aren’t done capitalizing off of Trump and his campaign’s lie of a “stolen election.”
One of those people looking to enrich himself off that lie is Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley. Hawley, who has been mentioned as a possible 2024 presidential candidate, said he will object when votes from the Electoral College are counted.
Following Hawley’s announced move, which is nothing more than a play for Trump’s base of supporters, Walmart, for some reason, tweeted out their disgust of Hawley.
