President Trump and his campaign’s legal team can and likely will continue to file more ridiculous lawsuits as they attempt to overturn results of an election.
And just as quickly as they file those suits, they’ll be thrown out much like the dozens and dozens of others before them. But don’t tell a Trump cult member that, they’ll just simply respond “just wait, just you wait. Big things are coming soon,” despite not having any shred of evidence for their insane claims.
President Trump isn’t going to be president any longer at noon on Jan. 20, 2021. It doesn’t take much thinking to understand that this is a fact, that President Biden is an inevitability. But Trump and his dedicated cult members will, no doubt, continue spouting these conspiracy theories and straight-up lies about the election as they nurse their over-inflated egos and damaged feelings back to health.
In a word, the inability of Trump and his supporters to actually accept his defeat and their vainglorious efforts to hold onto power through stupid, idiotic lawsuits is insane.
That’s exactly how the Rupert Murdoch-owned New York Post has summed up Trump’s efforts, imploring the president to “stop the insanity.”
