Ilhan Omar criticized AOC & other colleagues for getting vaccine first

Posting a selfie as you’re getting your COVID-19 vaccine is all the rage. Joni Ernst did it. AOC did it. Biden livestreamed it.

But Squad member Ilhan Omar isn’t especially thrilled that the people she works with are getting immunized before more higher risk Americans.

“It would makes sense if it was age, but unfortunately it’s of importance and its shameful. We are not more important then frontline workers, teachers etc. who are making sacrifices everyday. Which is why I won’t take it. People who need it most, should get it. Full stop,” she tweeted.

That same day, NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez got her shot, encouraging others to ask her questions about her experience.

Several other Congress members have sided with Omar, tweeting they shouldn’t be the first in line.
