Fox News has been President Trump’s mouthpiece throughout his first and only term in office. Trump could say, do or tweet something completely idiotic, factually incorrect or both and Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson or one of the Fox & Friends co-hosts would come along and play interpreter to try and clean up his mess.
No, he really didn’t mean what he said there. You’ve got it all wrong, they’d say. Or they’d defend him to the highest degree, even if it meant ruining their last little bit of credibility in the process.
Well, now that Trump and his people are pushing this unfounded voter fraud conspiracy theory, “The Daily Show” put together videos showing Fox News’ lack of concern of voter fraud just two years ago.
It would be funny if it wasn’t just so, so sad.
