Saturday Night Live is set to make its return to the airwaves on Oct. 3. The long-running sketch comedy show will also be coming back to its stage at 30 Rock in New York City.
Also, the show’s return comes just weeks before Americans go to the polls to make their voices heard. So, politics and the presidential election will, no doubt, be a big focus of their comedy.
While we already know or, at least, can assume who will be playing President Trump (Alec Baldwin) in season 46, the show hadn’t said who would be playing Joe Biden this season until now.
On Wednesday, the show announced funnyman Jim Carrey would portray the former vice president on Saturday Night Live this season.
Will Carrey’s Biden be better than Baldwin’s Trump or Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris? Who knows but it can’t be any worse.
