Late last week we learned that President Trump understood that the coronavirus was, in fact, deadly, actually fives more deadly than the flu. This happened after audio recordings and excerpts of journalist Bob Woodward’s upcoming book “Rage.”
However, Trump, weeks after the comment, told the American people otherwise, repeatedly. Jake Tapper had Trump administration official Peter Navarro on and of course, this was brought up.
Tapper asks Navarro a simple question: Why did President Trump say the coronavirus was no more deadly than the flu even after admitting to Woodward that it was?
Navarro goes on and on and on but never, ever answers the question.
Tapper asks him repeatedly why did Trump say one thing privately and another publicly and Navarro never answers.
