Sen. Blackburn blasts Disney over live-action ‘Mulan,’ calls it a ‘propaganda film’

It appears Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn will not be handing out the $29.99 to view Disney’s new live-action version of “Mulan.”

Blackburn blasted Disney on Twitter Thursday night, calling the film “nothing more than a fancy propaganda film.”

The House of Mouse has come under fire after it was revealed that in the end credits, the filmmakers thank the Chinese government. Apparently, the specific government organization the filmmakers acknowledge during the end credits has been tied to genocide of Uyghur Muslims in the communist country.

The Chinese government has long been accused of human rights violations, including enforcing a strict one-child policy.
