Politics can make people mean. Add into that mixtures social media, where people can hide behind a keyboard and you’ve got a recipe where everyone acts like a bunch of 13-year-old girls to one another, except much, much meaner.
Currently, it looks like the Gulf Coast is going to get hit by not one but two storms, whether those storms will be hurricanes by the time they hit the United States remains to be seen. Additionally, the country is still dealing with a deadly pandemic and throw into the mix the nationwide protests and, well, 2020 has been a whole lot of fun (but not really).
Anyway, a former Clinton official and current CNN contributor believes he may have found a reason why the storms are headed for the Gulf Coast. And you won’t believe what it is or heck, you might be able to figure it out. Regardless, Joe Lockhart thinks the Gulf Coast may just be getting what’s coming to them….for voting for Trump?
It takes a special kind of individual to believe people deserve a potentially deadly storm and not the good kind of special either.
Setting politics aside for a moment and having a tad bit of compassion seems to be too much in 2020.
