Kimberly Guilfoyle’s RNC speech mocked for being too loud

The Republican National Convention kicked off yesterday with an all virtual event. Several heavy hitters in the Republican party talked, including Nikki Haley, Donald Trump Jr., and Tim Scott.

But the speech getting the most buzz came from former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle.

It was loud. It punched back at all the Democrat policies and talking points and it’s getting panned by liberals and conservatives all over the internet for what seemed to be several minutes of her yelling at an empty room.

She took shots at her former ex-husband Gavin Newsom, who is currently the governor of California.

“Just take a look at California,” Guilfoyle said. “It is a place of immense wealth, immeasurable innovation and an immaculate environment. And the Democrats turned it into a land of discarded heroin needles in parks, riots in streets and blackouts in homes.”

“They want to steal your liberty, your freedom, they want to control what you see and think and believe so that they can control how you live. They want to enslave you to the weak, dependent, liberal victim ideology to the point that you will not recognize this country or yourself,” she said about Democrats.

She then claimed to be a first generation daughter of immigrants.

“I think we all know Puerto Ricans are not immigrants to America,” CNN’s Ana Navarro said. “Puerto Ricans are American citizens from birth. She is a natural-born U.S. citizen.”

Many felt the problem with the speech was that it was to an empty room.

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted his support, saying her passion for the country knows “no bounds.”
