Palin claims she was a ‘victim’ of Nicolle Wallace, Steve Schmidt’s ‘sabotage’ during McCain campaign

When running for president in 2008, late Arizona Sen. John McCain selected former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.

Palin was a terrible, terrible pick and she proved it time and time again during the campaign. There were several interviews where she looked like a deer in the headlights.

At one point during these interviews, Palin was asked what national papers she reads and was unable to answer that softball of a question. And who could forget that she said she could see Russia from her backyard?

Following the campaign, there were numerous reports of Palin and her diva-like behavior, making outrageous demands for her and her family. The Palin VP debacle was eventually turned into an HBO movie based on the best-selling book “Game Change.”

Now, more than 10 years after the campaign, Palin claims that her terrible performance on the national stage was because she was a victim of sabotage. Specifically, Palin says MSNBC host and former George W. Bush administration official Nicolle Wallace and Republican strategist Steve Schmidt were out to get her.

Palin made her accusations on Tucker Carlson’s show Wednesday evening.
