This week the Democrats are holding their national convention in which Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will officially accept their party’s nomination for President and Vice President.
Due to the pandemic, those speaking have been forced to give their statements virtually – either taped or live. The first two days of the convention has seen a number of well-known Democrats give take their turn and addressing the party faithful, including Michelle Obama, Amy Klobluchar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bill Clinton and Chuck Schumer.
Another person who gave talked Tuesday night was Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Prior to her speech, Whitmer as she was about to speak, she reminded everyone in the room what week it was.
