AOC’s idea to save the USPS: progressive pen pal program

She’s moved on from cow farts, folks.

AOC took to Instagram Live to share her brilliant idea for saving the United States Postal Service. The New York Congresswoman told viewers of her Sunday night chat she’s thinking of creating a national progressive pen pal program.

“What do you all think — would you guys be down and excited if I set up a national progressive pen pal program. Do all the work of connecting you to somebody else. We would offer some maybe conversation prompts or postcard prompts and maybe even a printable postcard format?,” she said.

“One of the best ways to support the post office is to buy stamps”, she said.

“Would you guys be down? Do you like that idea?” AOC asked her viewers.

She said she’s on her way back to D.C. to talk with the Postmaster General about the idea.

Maybe this is why they only gave her a minute to speak at the DNC.
