Yesterday, Joe Biden officially selected California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate on the Democratic ticket. Harris, who ran for the nomination herself, will begin appearing with Biden at events today.
John McCain’s former VP pick Sarah Palin offered congrats and some advice to Ms. Harris on her Instagram page.
“Congrats to the democrat VP pick”, Palin wrote. “Climb upon Geraldine Ferraro’s and my shoulders, and from the most amazing view in your life consider lessons we learned.”
Palin then listed six pieces of advice, telling Harris not to get “muzzled” by the campaign or media.
“Don’t get muzzled – connect with media and voters in your own unique way. Some yahoos running campaigns will suffocate you with their own self-centered agenda so remember YOU were chosen for who YOU are. So stay connected with America as you smile and ignore deceptive “handlers” trying to change you,” she wrote.
Palin concluded the post with a promise of a video to come from her debate against Biden, who was running as Obama’s VP at the time.
