David French perfectly calls out anti-face maskers on their blatant hypocrisy

Despite the surge in coronavirus cases across the country, there are still people who absolutely refuse to wear a face mask or simply adhere to social distancing.

Is wearing a mask and staying a safe distance from friends and family, maybe even skipping a party an inconvenience? It is uncomfortable at times? Sure, it is but you know what else is pretty uncomfortable and inconvenient: contracting a highly contagious and even deadly virus.

There are nearly 17 million positive COVID-19 cases worldwide, almost 4.5 million of those in the United States. Oh yeah, more than 150,000 people have died in the United States alone from the virus.

Even though with all of this death, there are still people who continue to stomp and scream about wearing a face mask. It doesn’t work they say. Fake News they retort. Oh and my personal favorite is when social media doctors, who are unable to distinguish between “there,” “their” and “they’re,” ask how many people have died from cancer, heart disease or car wrecks this year.

Last time I checked car wrecks aren’t contagious but that gives you an adequate idea of the kind of people protesting the simple and considerate act of wearing a face mask.

Dispatch editor and conservative writer David French perfectly captured the sheer stupidity and blatant hypocrisy of the anti-face mask crowd.

French hits the nail on the head when he calls out those who love to call themselves “pro-life” but still refuse to help mitigate a virus that has killed more than 150,000 people.

This is just another example of many in which Trump’s base will say and do anything in order to continue to defend President Trump, even if it means twisting and contorting the definition of conservative to defend their beloved: Donald J. Trump.
