For the majority of President Trump’s first term, the Democrats and a healthy number of media outlets have been consumed with the Trump-Russia investigation.
For several years, Democrats said they had proof that Trump and his campaign did, in fact, collude with the Russians to help him defeat Hillary Clinton and put him in the White House. Robert Mueller spent nearly two years investigating these accusations, with several people having been charged, having gone to prison or awaiting their sentence as a result.
The big document, the jumping off point which basically initiated the entire Trump-Russian collusion story was Steele Dossier.
On Tuesday, former Obama administration and close personal friend of the former president, Valerie Jarret, appeared on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo. Bartiromo hammered Jarret about new information that has since come to light about the dossier. But Jarret didn’t really want to engage and instead said she didn’t want to look to the past. Jarret, as she told Bartiromo, said we should all be concerned about what is going on and looking toward the future.
Bartiromo really wasn’t having any of it and continued to badger her for an answer for several minutes.
