COVID-19 is still out and around circulating, whether people want to believe it or not.
At last check, there are more than 8 million confirmed cases of the virus worldwide with more than 2.1 million in the United States, the most of any country on Earth. When it comes to deaths related to the virus, the USA also takes the top spot with more than 435,000 deaths in the world, more than 116,000 of those are in the United States.
And it’s only through the testing that we discover new cases of the virus, but what if we stopped testing for the virus altogether? Would it simply go away?
That seems to be thinking of President Donald Trump. Trump, speaking Monday, said that if we’d stop testing, we’d have very few cases right now, if any.
