The presidential election is less than six months away. While it’s not official quite yet, former Vice President Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic presidential nominee.
After a rough start, Biden gained momentum after his surprise win in South Carolina. Soon after, the other candidates began slowly dropping out of the race after seeing the writing on the wall.
With the national conventions for both parties slowly creeping up on us, the Biden campaign’s next big decision will be the choice of running mate. Biden, during a debate, has already promised that his pick would be a female.
Since his announcement, we’ve heard all names thrown out there. Sen. Kamala Harris, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Stacey Abrams have all been mentioned. One that appears to be gaining momentum is Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar. And apparently Biden has asked for Klobuchar to be vetted for the position.
Whether Klobuchar has consented to the process is another thing. She hasn’t exactly been out campaigning for the position like Stacey Abrams, who pathetically sings Biden’s praises anytime a camera is stuck in her face.
