Maryland restaurant using ‘bumper tables’ to social distance

While the coronavirus pandemic continues, many states are beginning to reopen and relax restrictions.

But while those restrictions are being rolled back slowly, restaurants and other establishments where people are likely to congregate in large groups are still advised to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Of course, part of remaining socially distant is staying six feet away from your fellow man.

One restaurant in Maryland has found a rather interesting way to keep customers from one another.

Yes, they are having customers use bumper tables. It’s a novel idea and likely to get them plenty of attention, which is the point of the whole thing, right?
