Fox News, Trump attack former President George Bush for call to unite during health crisis

The nation is still dealing with a health crisis. More cases of COVID-19 are confirmed every day and more people are dying as a result of the virus as most states begin relaxing restrictions.

Currently, the United States stands at more than 1.1 million cases with more than 66,000 deaths related to the virus.

There are many people in our country who are hurting both physically and financially due to this pandemic. If there was ever a time to put aside petty political differences and help one another, this would be a time to do so.

On Saturday, former President George W. Bush released a video saying that very thing, calling on people of the nation to unite and help those who may need it.

But instead of actually listening to Bush’s message, Fox News’ Pete Hegseth used a message about setting aside differences and partisanship to attack the Bush 43.

And then President Trump joined in and attacked Bush for his video.

It is odd that former President Bush even had to put out a video like this on May 2, though. Trump said the virus ” will miraculously be gone by April as it gets warmer.”
