President Donald Trump isn’t a big fan of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Trump made that abundantly clear during, what has become, a daily press briefing where the president comes out, during his opening statement, and riffs on and rambles about this, that and nearly every topic under the sun. Oh yeah, and he eventually squeezes in some information in about the federal government’s COVID-19 response, at some point.
During Monday’s press briefing, Trump got onto Nancy Pelosi and his disdain for the Speaker of the House. He called her “very nasty” for her delaying tactics, saying that if not for her, they could’ve gotten some amazing things done for the country.
This war of words between the President of the United States and the Speaker of the House is likely to continue as both look for someone to blame. With an election coming up, finding someone to blame for failures is “essential business.”
