Hypocrite alert! Alyssa “Believe All Women” Milano says Joe Biden deserves due process

With all the pandemic news, not many outlets have reported that former Vice President Joe Biden was recently accused of sexually assaulting a former staff member in 1993. Tara Reade, who worked on his senate campaign, told a reporter that Biden “repeatedly touched her without her consent and sexually assaulted her.”

Reade approached the Times Up Legal Defense Fund for help and they refused “because Biden is a candidate for federal office, and pursuing a case could jeopardize the fund’s nonprofit status.”

Alyssa Milano, the actress best known for Charmed and Who’s the Boss, rose to Biden’s defense against the allegations, saying he deserves due process. And when asked about how hypocritical that seems when compared to how she reacted to Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s, she basically shrugged it off.

“I believe that even though we should believe women, and that is an important thing, what that statement really means is that for so long, the go-to has been not to believe them,” said Milano in an interview with radio host Andy Cohen. “We have to societally change that mindset to believing women, but that does not mean at the expense of not giving men their due process and investigating situations. It’s got to be fair in both directions.”

Cohen pressed her again, and Milano replied: “I’ve been very vocal about Biden and my support for him,” Milano continued. “I don’t feel comfortable throwing away a decent man that I’ve known for 15 years in this time of complete chaos without there being a thorough investigation.”

Huh. What a change of tune when it’s someone that’s on your side politically.

Rose McGowan, one of the actresses who accused Harvey Weinstein of rape, slammed Milano on Twitter.

“You are a fraud. This is about holding the media accountable. You go after Trump & Kavanaugh saying Believe Victims, you are a lie. You have always been a lie. The corrupt DNC is in on the smear job of Tara Reade, so are you. SHAME,” she tweeted.
