Humor, even in the midst of a global pandemic, is a good thing and can put a smile people’s faces, even momentarily.
For weeks now, governors, doctors and other medical professionals have been preaching social distancing and the need to stay home, if possible, in order to help flatten the curve.
Well, like anything else, people don’t listen. By a simple Google search, you can find stories of people refusing to listen to those simple instructions. Heck, the president of Liberty University, Jerry Falwell Jr., going against state and CDC health guidelines, reopened the school.
And guess what? Now a student at the university has tested positive for coronavirus. Really, really smart move, morons.
So, knowing all this, Larry David provided his comedic talents and wanted to “address all the idiots out there” and ask people to say inside and “take this once in a lifetime opportunity to stay home and watch TV.”
