Trump: If Michigan, Washington governors ‘aren’t appreciative, I don’t call’

Every day single day we’re learning of new positive coronavirus tests and more deaths related to COVID-19.

At this point, there are more than 121,00 positive cases and more than 2,000 deaths in the United States. Places like New York City, Los Angeles and New Orleans are hot spots where cases of the virus have skyrocketed. Now, it appears that Detroit, Michigan is appearing as yet another hot spot.

Our nation’s governors are those on the front lines dealing with the deadly situation. They are the ones calling upon the federal government for help, whether it be personal protective equipment, coronavirus tests or medical personnel.

On Friday, President Trump, during his coronavirus briefing, said that if the governors of Michigan and Washington aren’t “appreciative” then he isn’t going to call.

Seriously? It sounds as if Trump is tying praise of him to help, or lack thereof, from the federal government.
