Over the weekend, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul was the first member of the United States Senate to be diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Following news of his diagnosis, it was also revealed that the morning when he learned of his positive test he was using the Senate’s gym, swimming in the pool.
Understandably, people were upset about the senator’s behavior. He could’ve infected the entire Senate. We’ve been told for weeks now that anyone who has even been tested is supposed to quarantine until receiving the test results.
So, now the daughter of Nancy Pelosi, Christine Pelosi, is also a tad bit upset. She also took it way too far.
Pelosi, after learning of Paul’s positive test and his using of the Senate’s gym, said his “neighbor was right.”
Of course, Pelosi is referring to the time when Paul’s neighbor beat him, breaking several of his ribs and putting him in the hospital.
While, Paul may have been wrong for his decision to put others at risk, beating the guy probably isn’t the answer. And even if that’s what you think should be done, why in the world would you ever put that out in a public forum?
