Last night, former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders got together for their first one-on-one debate. It was on CNN and there was no audience.
While the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump’s response and the mixed messages being sent by the president about the world health crisis dominated the debate, other issues did come up.
Sanders and Biden went back and forth on a number of issues, including health care, social security and most interestingly, their running mates.
Biden, Sunday night, said that his running mate would be a woman. Now, Sanders also said that he’d pick a female to be his vice president but that’s not likely to happen because, well he’s not going to be the Democrats’ nominee.
So, the big question remains who will be Biden’s running mate? Let the speculation begin.
