Kaitlin Bennett says she was met with a ‘rioting’ crowd on Ohio University campus

Kaitlin Bennett, who rose to fame as the Kent State “gun girl”, was not welcomed with open arms on the Ohio University campus Monday. Bennett made an unplanned stop at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and says she was run off campus by an angry rioting crowd.

Students screamed profanities at Bennett, threw coffee and water on her as her bodyguards escorted her through the crowd. Bennett says she was there to film a video about President’s Day for her website Liberty Hangout.

“This is what happens when a Trump supporter goes to a college campus. Leftists at @ohiou started a riot when @Joelpatrick1776 and I showed up, and the @oupolice let it happen. I think @realDonaldTrump should strip funding from universities like this that harbor terrorists,” she tweeted.

Bennett says she’ll be back and next time it will be a guns rights walk through campus.

“I will absolutely be returning to @ohiou‘s campus again, and next time I’ll bring an army of gun owners for an open carry walk through campus. You can’t keep us away and you can’t keep us silent. Just like Donald Trump, we will always win,” she tweeted.
