Bloomberg on health care: If ‘you’re 95 years old, we should say there’s no cure’

Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, is rising in the polls. Despite not playing at all in the first four states – Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina – he’ll be on the debate stage Wednesday night in Las Vegas.

But with more support comes more scrutiny and Bloomberg is currently getting a lot of that, thanks mainly due to some of the just incredibly stupid things he’s said both in the past and during the campaign.

For instance, Bloomberg was caught on camera explaining how a government should run healthcare. Bloomberg, knowing that health care will and is bankrupting us, wants to give out care based solely on the age of the recipent.

The obvious question is: who gets to decide whose life is worth saving and whose life is not? But I guess that’s the dilemma you get when the government gets involved in such matters.
