Bernie Sanders compares voting for him to voting for Nelson Mandela

The Nevada caucus is Saturday and let’s just hope it’s not a repeat of the mess that was Iowa. I mean that thing was absolutely embarrassing.

So, fingers crossed, right?

Anyway, before Nevada makes its choice in the Democratic presidential primary, there’s still plenty of time for poll numbers to fluctuate. There’s a Democratic debate Wednesday evening, which will be Michael Bloomberg’s first appearance with his fellow candidates.

Oh yeah, the candidates will be running all over Nevada holding campaign rallies, telling their supporters how important they are, how much their vote actually matters and imploring them to bring others to the polls. And if you’re Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, you compare a vote for yourself to that of voting for Nelson Mandela.

Think I’m kidding? Let’s go to the tape.
