Hope Hicks, who left her position as White House communications director in 2018, is expected to once again work for the administration as the 2020 election starts to ramp up.
According to ABC, Hicks will “return in the coming weeks as a senior adviser reporting to Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law. Her official title will be counselor to the president.”
After telling the House Intelligence Committee that she had “occasionally told white lies on Trump’s behalf,” Hicks resigned from her position in the White House and also appeared before the House Judiciary Committee during the Mueller probe. Hicks declined to talk about what went on with her position at the White House.
“There is no one more loyal, talented or fun than Hope. Not only is she brilliant she is an amazing friend and will be a tremendous asset to the President and his team,” tweeted Sarah Sanders.
