On Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump addressed a joint session of Congress to deliver the State of the Union.
While these speeches are dissected and discussed over and over the next day, they have become pretty mundane and expected. No matter who is giving the speech – George W. Bush, Barack Obama or Donald Trump – you know what you’re gonna get.
They will talk about what their administration has accomplished up until this point, what they plan and hope to get done with their remaining time in office and they recognize and use people in the audience as props to help illustrate points in their speech.
While Trump gave his speech, it wasn’t words but actions that have people talking.
At the conclusion of Trump’s speech, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi didn’t hide how she felt.
