Trump congratulates Kansas City Chiefs, says they represented state of Kansas well

The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl champions!

They defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 Sunday night in Miami. The victory is the team’s first Super Bowl win in 50 years.

Now, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the rest of the team will partake in the usual celebratory championship activities.

They’ll visit Disney World and will have a parade thrown in their honor in Kansas City….in Missouri, not Kansas.

After their victory, President Trump tweeted out a message congratulating the team, saying they represented the state….of Kansas very well.

The problem? The Chiefs play in Arrowhead Stadium which is located Kansas City, Missouri.

Likely, after someone on his staff caught his geographical blunder, the President of the United States changed his tweet, in which he named the correct state.

Make Kansas Great Again! Or is it Missouri?
