Former Vice President Joe Biden is really trying to cash in on the Obama connection in hopes it will help him get the Democratic nominee. So much so that he’s now suggesting appointing the former President and First Lady to high profile positions.
At a town hall event in Iowa, Biden was asked about appointing President Obama to the Supreme Court. Biden was agreeable to that idea, but had doubts the former president would want the job.
“Yeah, I would, but I don’t think he’d do it,” Biden told the audience. “He’d be a great Supreme Court justice.”
And when it comes to the former First Lady, Biden says he’d love for Michelle to be VP.
“Well, I sure would like Michelle to be the vice president,” Biden said smiling and laughing with the crowd. “They’re both incredibly qualified people. I mean and they’re such decent honorable people.”
