Buttigieg: People inspired by what Kobe Bryant ‘did on the field’

On Sunday afternoon, NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter and seven other people lost their lives in a helicopter crash in California.

After news broke of Bryant’s passing, anyone and everyone was commenting on the surprising passing of the former Los Angeles Laker. You couldn’t log onto any social media site without seeing a highlight reel of Kobe’s storied career.

One of those people who commented on Kobe’s death was Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. The midwestern “moderate” Democrat was on Fox News provided his take on Kobe’s life and legacy.

Instead of properly summing up Bryant’s life and career, Buttigieg embarrassed himself as he showed that he may not be the biggest basketball fan.

He was only the mayor of a town in Indiana where basketball is somewhat important to Hoosiers.

I wonder how long it was until someone on his staff let the former Indiana mayor know that basketball isn’t played on a field.
