What a bizarre take from Joy Behr on The View today.
Following the attacks by Iran on the US military base in Iraq, Richard Spencer, the white nationalist who organized the “Unite the Right” rally that went terribly wrong in Charlottesville has now turned on President Trump.
“I deeply regret voting for and promoting Donald Trump in 2016,” he tweeted. Then somewhat apologized to Iran.

To the people of Iran,
There are millions of Americans who do not want war, who do not hate you, and who respect your nation and its history.
After our traitorous elite is brought to justice, we hope to achieve peace, reconciliation, and forgiveness.

Behar talked about the tweets on The View today, saying it was “some good news” that Spencer felt this way. The look Meghan McCain gave her was hilarious.
“Do you remember Richard Spencer? He’s basically the organizer of Unite the Right, the white-nationalist group that was marching in Charlottesville and was all-in for Trump. Not anymore!”, Behar said. She then read his tweet on-air.
And the audience clapped…Neo-Nazis are hardline nationalists that don't believe we should be spending money on anything to do with brown people.
If Austria was under attack by Iranians, Richard Spencer would have no issue with the US sending in troops https://t.co/eXMC6GvMN6

Co-host Sunny Hostin, pointed out to Behar that they were dropping their support for the president “because they’re nationalists” but that seemed to go right over Behar’s head.
