Retired Gen. Wesley Clark’s cellphone rings during live interview, tosses it across room

Technology is great right up until the point it isn’t. It always works except for when we’re in a real time crunch and our dependence on technology lets us down in a major way.

Wednesday on CNN, retired Gen. Wesley Clark had a rather bad and comical experience with technology.

Clark was brought on to discuss the situation with the U.S. Embassy being stormed by protesters in Iraq when his cellphone starts ringing on live TV.

So what does Clark do? Of course he didn’t answer it but instead he threw it on the other side of room and seconds later you hear it hit the floor.
