Trump signs $1.4 trillion budget, raises legal age to buy tobacco to 21

Thank God for those Republicans that absolutely hate government regulation! I mean, where would we be without them?

Yesterday, as part of the $1.4 trillion budget President Trump signed into law, he raised the legal age to buy tobacco to 21, which was included.

So now in the United States of America when you turn 18, you can vote, go to war, get married, buy a car, get a mortgage, serve on a jury, sue or be sued but you can’t buy a pack of Camels.

Now, I’m not a smoker but isn’t this the kind of government regulation that Republicans are supposedly against?

Imagine if President Obama had done something like this. Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and all of Fox News would be up in arms but since the president has an “R” by his name, we won’t hear much about this.

Someone who is old enough to vote and serve in the military wants to buy a pack of cigarettes, what do I care? And why should anyone care? It’s their life, right?

Again, thank God for those Republicans and President Trump for protecting us from further government regulation and those evil, evil cigarettes and e-cigarettes!
