UK: Boris Johnson and conservatives defeat Jeremy Corbyn and Labour

It appears things didn’t turn out as planned for Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and leftists in the UK.

Across the pond, voters went to the polls Thursday and it looks as if that Boris Johnson and his Conservative Party won big.

Exit polls were showing that the Conservatives would hold an 86-seat majority in the House of Commons – with Johnson’s party projected to win 368 seats.

It’s also being reported that these numbers for Johnson and the conservatives are the biggest numbers since Margaret Thatcher.

Brexit, of course, was the biggest issue in the UK and the voters chose Johnson over Corbyn, overwhelmingly. Needless to say, leftists aren’t taking the election loss well.
