CNN trying different angle to suppress ‘Joker’ box office returns

Don’t go see “Joker” or you’ll end up dead at the hands of an angry white, single man. That was the message the media pushed over and over in the weeks leading up to the release of the anticipated film.

“Joker” is nothing more than a film about an angry white man left behind by society and who then uses violence as a means to seek retribution.

Is the film violent? Sure, it is and in one scene, it’s graphically violent. But Hollywood releases violent films each and every weekend but they all had an issue with this film.

Well, the media’s fear mongering did nothing to dampen the film’s box office returns as it made nearly $100 million domestically in its opening weekend.

Now, since their “stay away or you’ll be murdered” message didn’t seem to work, CNN is trying another method.

CNN is actually trying to get people to avoid the film because a snippet of a song by someone who was convicted of pedophilia was used in the film.

This is just getting embarrassing even for CNN.
