Kavanaugh hit with new accusations, Dems call for impeachment

It’s almost been a year since the firestorm confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a new sexual misconduct allegation has been made against him. The New York Times published a piece over the weekend, detailing the uncorroborated allegation and now top Democrats are calling for his impeachment.

Deborah Ramirez tells the paper that during a Yale party, “a freshman named Brett Kavanaugh pulled down his pants and thrust his penis at her, prompting her to swat it away and inadvertently touch it.” When the reporters went looking for witness to back her story up, they said others told them about a similar incident where ”A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student.”

Kavanaugh denies that either incident happened.

Now, top Democrats are calling for his impeachment.

“Last year the Kavanaugh nomination was rammed through the Senate without a thorough examination of the allegations against him. Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached,” Elizabeth Warren tweeted.

“I sat through those hearings. Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached,” said Kamala Harris.

Julian Castro said his confirmation was a “sham” and it’s clear Kavanaugh lied under oath.

President Trump weighed in, saying the accusations were false and Kavanaugh should start suing people.
