Zach Galifianakis is mainly known for his role his role in “The Hangover” films where he plays the extremely odd, but well-intentioned Alan.
However, another one of his biggest claims to fame is the now defunct “Between Two Fern” series in which Galifianakis would interview celebrities and politicians as they literally sat between two ferns.
He would intentionally ask offensive and mean questions meant to draw a reaction from his guest that week. Yes, it was obviously scripted but it was still pretty hilarious.
Well, now Netflix is looking to capitalize off of the show’s popularity with a full-length film.
“Between Two Ferns: The Movie,” which also stars Will Ferrell and Peter Dinklage, lands on the streaming service Sept. 20.
