Chris Hayes: If the Electoral College wasn’t in Constitution, it would be unconstitutional

There is growing support on the left for doing away with the Electoral College.

Why? Well, a Republican is in the White House so therefore the Electoral College must be flawed.

But it also appears that prominent Democrats are unwilling to accept popular vote counts. Stacey Abrams still refuses to say that she lost the election for Georgia. Instead, she continues to say she “won.”

Now, it looks as if Democrats have support for abolishing the Electoral College in the media. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, on his “All In” program, came up with this genius take: “The weirdest fact about the Electoral College is if it wasn’t specifically in the Constitution for the presidency, it would be unconstitutional.”

Apparently having any thought and being able to vocalize it is all that’s required to get a show on MSNBC.
