Earlier this year, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek gave everyone a big scare when he announced he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Even the iconic gameshow host acknowledged that the chances of surviving the disease were slim, somewhere in the single digits. But despite the odds, Trebex vowed to fight the disease, that he would be back.
And several months later, to the surprise of many, Trebek announced that his doctors said he was in near remission. Well, now it appears his condition has improved even more.
On Thursday, the Jeopardy! host, in a video announcing the popular show’s 36th season, said that he’s been through the chemotherapy, it’s over and he’s on the mend.
