Citing a “domestic gag rule” on abortion services, Planned Parenthood has opted to leave the Title X program.
“For the first time in nearly 50 years, Planned Parenthood is being forced out of the Title X program, meaning people across the country who are already struggling to make ends meet might not be able to access the care they need. Absolutely devastating,” they tweeted.

According to The Hill, Planned Parenthood said they cannot “ethically comply” with new rules from the Trump administration which ban providers from referring women for abortions.
Top Democrats have already accused the President of cutting health care for women.
Thanks to @realDonaldTrump, millions of women’s health care is now in flux.@PPFA made the right decision refusing to allow the Trump admin to dictate what medical care their doctors talk about and provide.

Planned Parenthood provides critical health services to millions of low-income patients, and this will harm their health and the health of their communities. As Co-Chair of the @ProChoiceCaucus, I'll keep fighting against Trump’s continued attacks on #TitleX. #ProtectX https://t.co/ATfNomBRy9
