Most polls shows Elizabeth Warren now with more support than her fellow far left colleague Bernie Sanders. This is a pretty astounding fact given that her campaign appeared to be dead on arrival.
From the very beginning Warren was hit with accusations that she lied out her heritage, claiming to be Native American for years. Some said this helped her career, helped her secure a teaching position on the faculty at Harvard University. Of course, Warren denied that this was the case and even came out and apologized. She even took a DNA test which didn’t help her out in the slightest.
On Monday in Iowa, Warren attended a Native American forum. So, of course, she had to address the elephant in the room.
When the topic came up, Warren said she knew that her claim of being Native American was nothing more than a mistake and for that she apologized.
Senator Elizabeth Warren tells Native Americans: "Like anyone who's being honest with themselves, I know that I have made mistakes. I am sorry for harm I have caused." https://t.co/lElsh0kC7n pic.twitter.com/jNAuIhwCZi
