Julian Castro’s new campaign ad blames Trump for El Paso shooting

Sometimes you have to stop and wonder if these Democrats running for president even believe the messages they send out with their campaign ads and platforms. Do they REALLY believe President Trump is responsible for mass shootings or are they just saying it because it panders to the people they want to vote for them?

My guess is it’s the latter.

Julian Castro has released a new campaign ad that takes aim at President Trump and directly blames him for the mass shooting in El Paso Texas. In a Tweet, Castro said he ran the ad during “Fox and Friends” in order to interrupt the President’s vacation.

According to the Daily Wire, the ad will only run in the network around Trump’s golf course.

“President Trump, you referred to countries as ‘s**tholes.’ You urged American congresswomen to go back to where they came from. You called immigrants rapists,” Castro says in the ad. “As we saw in El Paso, Americans were killed because you stoked the fire of racists. Innocent people were shot down because they look different from you, because they look like me. They look like my family.”

“Words have consequences. Ya basta,” he added, using the Spanish slang for “enough.”
